Amtrak "Sprinter" 657 sails across the Wepawaug River bridge in downtown Milford, CT with an "Amtrak Regional" train of Amfleet equipment bound for Washington, DC and perhaps points south. The fall colors are "past peak" but still in evidence. <br /> <br /> This is on Metro North's New Haven Line, which constitutes part of the Boston to Washington Northeast Corridor route for the stretch between New Rochelle, NY (where Amtrak's line splits off to head towards Penn Station in NYC) and New Haven, CT.<br /> <br /> My original digital capture, processed with ON1 software.
